Alchemy of Freedom Book Talk

A discussion by A. H. Almaas about his book Alchemy of Freedom: Philosophers' Stone and the Secrets of Existence. The video was recorded live in Berkeley, CA on April 21, 2017. 

In the video, Almaas discusses the concept of the philosophers' stone as our true nature and the nature of everything. He explains that recognizing our true nature and exploring its depths can unlock the secrets of reality. He also talks about the concept of "red sulfur", which in alchemical literature represents the dynamism of true nature. This dynamism is created by the union of two elements, sulfur and mercury, which represent two sides of reality. Sulfur is described as fiery, active, and masculine, while mercury is flowing, receptive, and feminine. The combination of these two elements creates an unusual dynamism.
