Angelika Böhme, born in 1966 in Germany. Our family then moved to Khartoum in Sudan, which made me experience the first years of my life in quite a diversity of cultures, Western, Arabic and African. I very much love the International Community of our Ridhwan School.
I started with Yoga when I was 12 years old. I then got into contact with methods and paths supporting the realization of our human potential and helping to break free from the limiting imprints of our past on our soul. Dance Therapy, Gestalt Work, Formative Psychology, Bio Energetics as well as Integral Yoga have been growing my holistic understanding. In 2008 I started my journey as a student of the Diamond Approach and immediately felt home on this path. I fell in love with its radical openness and curiosity towards all what arises in our direct experience. The open-ended inquiry.
My whole inner journey has been in a mutual interference with my professional career. After a natural scientific education I was working for 25 years in various leading roles in the Global Industry. In 2019 I stepped out of this busy world and started to work as a coach in Leipzig. By becoming a Diamond Approach teacher in 2021 my life feels fulfilled and I am deeply grateful to support others on their unique spiritual journey.
I have been learning a tremendous freedom just to be. Simple and just in the now. A deep trust into the intelligent optimizing dynamism of the soul I am. A capacity to be with whatever arises in my awareness and not to hold on to any idea of what should happen or what I might be. A deep gratefulness and humility for this chance of ongoing unfoldment and maturation of my life.
Its precise understanding of how to use the knowledge of modern psychology to support the growth of self-awareness and realization. I was also thrilled by the intensity of the field of presence manifesting when coming together on retreats. Such a tremendous holding field for the thriving of each of us. From the first moment I also loved the diversity and internationality of our community. I also was touched by the uniqueness, openness, loving kindness and selflessness of the various senior teachers of the Diamond Approach who taught in our ongoing group. I could feel that they are manifestations of what they teach about which made it easy for me to engage in the Diamond Approach.
This journey of inner discovery is open-ended. It is committed to the truth for its own sake. All what is needed is your true curiosity and a flame to find out who you really are. There is nothing specific you have to belief. It’s up to you to find out the truth of your own direct experience.
